1:1 Coaching
‘For many women midlife is a confusing and stressful time. I have heard women say that they feel like they have ‘lost themselves’ and they lack confidence in day to day activities such as driving in the dark. The brain fog and reduced memory can be confronting. I will support you to navigate these challenges and gain clarity on your next steps.
Menopause
Every woman’s menopause is unique. You are not broken. Rather you are entering a new chapter of possibility despite potentially significant physical and cognitive manifestations of this life-stage.
Career decisions
Considerations including the following are common at this time of life:
- Going for promotion or not?
- Making a bid for a final ‘big role’
- Taking a step back
- Moving sideways
- Re-training
- Retirement goals
Ageing parents
This can be an unpredictable and emotional rollercoaster. You may suddenly be thrust into a world of health and social care that seems daunting and opaque. It may feel like yet another burden and responsibility on top of a full bucket of demands.
Alcohol
Alcohol can sometimes become a coping mechanism, but over time it can affect both physical and emotional well-being. As women get older, their ability to metabolise alcohol reduces. The question comes down to ‘is alcohol serving me?’
How 1:1 coaching works
Midlife marks a new chapter; while it brings change, it also holds immense possibility. I will support you approach this chapter with optimism and purpose, reconnect with yourself, and feel excited about what’s next.
I offer one-to-one virtual sessions over Zoom where I will be your thinking partner and help you uncover and realise your true goals and desired outcomes at your life-stage. I may ask you some difficult questions in a supportive and confidential setting.
With my dietetic and nutrition background, I can assess your current diet and agree goals to optimise your nutrition for midlife and beyond. I will always provide robust and evidence-based advice and cut through the ‘noise’.
